[VALIDAR COM O JURÍDICO] Provisional text, pending legal review
Terms of use
These are the rules for using GradeMestre, the web system that builds, adjusts, and publishes the school timetable.
Provisional version of October 23, 2026.
The service
GradeMestre is a subscription service, used in the browser, to enter the timetable data, generate the teacher and class schedule, adjust the result, and publish it to the school.
In these terms, school means the school or school network that subscribes to GradeMestre, and user means each person the school authorizes to sign in.
Who can use it
- The school subscribes to the service and decides who signs in, with which role and which permissions.
- GradeMestre is used by school staff (principals, coordinators, office staff, and teachers). There are no student accounts.
- Whoever accepts these terms on behalf of the school confirms they are authorized to do so.
Account and access
- Each person uses their own sign-in. Do not share your password, passkey, or second factor.
- Keep your sign-in details up to date and tell the school or GradeMestre if you notice misuse of your account.
- The school can invite, change, and remove users at any time. Sensitive actions may ask you to confirm your identity again.
Subscription, trial, and payment
- The subscription is per school, with unlimited users. Plans, prices, trial period, and conditions are on the pricing page and in the subscription order.
- There is no free plan: after the trial period, use continues with the paid subscription.
- Billing is automatic, with the chosen payment method. If payment is late, access may become read-only and then be suspended, within the periods stated in the subscription, always with prior notice.
- The school can cancel the subscription. The cancellation and minimum-term rules are in the subscription order.
Acceptable use
When using GradeMestre, you agree not to:
- try to access data from another school or another account;
- bypass, test, or disable security controls without written authorization;
- overload the service on purpose or automate it outside the features provided;
- enter data about identified students or personal data beyond what the timetable needs, such as the medical reason for an absence;
- use the service for illegal purposes or against the rights of others.
School data
- The data entered belongs to the school. The school is the controller of this data, and GradeMestre is the processor: it processes the data only to provide the service and on the school's instructions, as explained in the Privacy policy.
- The school confirms that it has a legal basis to process teachers' data and that it has informed them about this processing.
- The school can export the timetables (PDF and spreadsheet) at any time while the subscription is active.
Artificial intelligence (optional)
- GradeMestre works fully without AI. AI is an optional feature that the school turns on or off.
- AI only suggests rules and text; the user confirms them before they apply. The timetable is built by the optimization engine, never by the AI.
- Before anything is sent to an AI provider, names and contact details are replaced with codes.
- If the school uses its own key with an AI provider, choosing that provider and the contract with it are the school's responsibility.
Availability and support
- We work to keep the service available and secure, with daily backups. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance whenever possible.
- The GradeMestre team only accesses a school's data when the school itself grants temporary access, which is recorded and visible to the school.
Responsibilities
- The generated timetable is a proposal. The school reviews it, adjusts it, and decides which timetable becomes official.
- GradeMestre is responsible for the operation of the service and the security of the data it processes, within the limits that the contract with the school will set.
- Each user is responsible for what they do with their own account.
End of contract
When the subscription ends, the school has a period to export its data. After that, the data is deleted, except for what the law or the contract requires us to keep, within the periods in the Privacy policy.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the new version will be published on this page. Relevant changes will be announced to schools before they take effect.
Governing law and contact
- These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. The venue will be defined with legal counsel.
- Contact: to be defined (it will be published here before use with real school data).
